Caban Tawel Terms & Conditions

These are the booking terms and conditions for Caban Tawel for holidays booked directly with us. Please read these carefully. These terms become binding once we issue you with confirmation of your booking.

Bookings & Payments

  • Provisional bookings will be held for 3 days pending receipt of a completed booking form and deposit (by bank transfer).
  • Your booking is only accepted once we issue confirmation.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
  • The balance (non-refundable) is payable 6 weeks before your holiday start date.
  • Bookings within 6 weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking, which is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation must be made in writing. Non-payment may result in cancellation.
  • We recommend holiday insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

General Conditions

  • The minimum age of the lead guest is 21. This person must be present throughout the stay and is responsible for supervising guests under 18.
  • Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted. No charging facility is available, and portable chargers must not be used. Breach may result in immediate departure.
  • Strictly no smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) in the cabin, veranda or steps.
  • Prices include water, electricity, heating, towels, bed linen and VAT.
  • Maximum occupancy: 6 people (including infants). Maximum adults: 5. Top bunk only suitable for children aged 6–16.
  • Arrival after 4pm (please notify if after 6pm). Departure by 10am.
  • You are responsible for proper care of the property and contents. Report any damage, loss or faults promptly.
  • Minor breakages are not normally charged, but we reserve the right to charge for damage, pets’ damage, or additional cleaning.
  • Lost keys: £20 replacement charge.
  • Please leave the cabin clean with all equipment and utensils in good order.
  • We disclaim liability for loss or damage to guests’ belongings, baggage, vehicles, or injury except where legally provable negligence applies.
  • Please keep the gate shut at all times.
  • Internet is provided for recreational/legal use only. Speed and reliability are not guaranteed and no compensation is offered.
  • We reserve the right to refuse bookings or request immediate departure without refund for unreasonable, illegal or damaging behaviour.
  • We reserve the right to enter the cabin for inspection or repairs (notice given where possible, except emergencies).
  • Personal information is held under the Data Protection Act 1994. We may send you offers unless you request otherwise in writing.

Pets

We welcome pets, but owners must comply with the following:

  • No pets in bedrooms, on beds or furniture.
  • Pets must not be left unattended in the property.
  • Clean up after pets within the grounds (scoop provided).
  • Keep the gate shut and prevent pets from wandering.
  • Dogs must be on leads around animals and the farmyard (ducks, chickens, cats free range).
  • Tidy up after pets inside the cabin (hoover provided).
  • Leave windows open on departure day (unless heavy rain/wind).
  • We reserve the right to charge for pet-related damage or additional cleaning.
