Caban Tawel
“Caban Tawel” is Welsh for peaceful cabin, which describes our log cabin perfectly. Set in its own peaceful grounds, surrounded by woodland and fields, the log cabin’s veranda looks towards views of the Preseli Hills.
Built of solid pine, well-insulated, with full central heating and furnished to a high standard throughout, Caban Tawel has been awarded four stars by Visit Wales and provides a well-equipped home from home; a cosy hideaway in the winter and a cool escape in the summer.
Accommodating up to 6 people (max. 5 adults), there are 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite) and 1 bunk room. The spacious open plan kitchen/diner and living room has double doors leading onto the large covered veranda.
There is plenty of space outside the cabin too. Guests are welcome to explore our farm, with numerous private paths created through our woodland, and the cabin itself has a securely fenced garden area with lawn and large parking area, BBQ and picnic bench.
To get your holiday off to a good start, you will find tea, coffee and fresh milk in the kitchen.
The kitchen has a full size cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is no washing machine, but a laundry service can be provided.
For our younger guests, a travel cot and highchair are available on request.
