Caban Tawel means “peaceful cabin” in Welsh, and it’s a name that perfectly captures the spirit of our cosy log cabin retreat.

Set in its own peaceful grounds on our family farm, Caban Tawel is surrounded by woodland and open fields, with lovely views towards the Preseli Hills. Built from solid pine and fully insulated, the cabin offers a welcoming and comfortable place to relax and unwind, whatever the season.

Awarded four stars by Visit Wales, our lodge is designed for year-round comfort, with central heating for cosy winter evenings and a spacious covered veranda for enjoying the fresh country air. Whether you’re looking for a quiet countryside escape or a comfortable base for exploring Pembrokeshire, you’ll find plenty of space to make yourself at home.

The cabin sleeps up to six guests (maximum five adults), with two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a bunk room. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area provides plenty of room to relax together, while double doors open onto the covered veranda, a lovely spot to sit back and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Outside, there’s a securely fenced garden with a lawn and picnic bench, as well as ample parking. Guests are welcome to explore the private woodland paths on our farm, offering a peaceful way to enjoy the fresh air and explore our little corner of the Pembrokeshire countryside.

We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive, so we provide complimentary tea, coffee and fresh milk to help you unwind after your journey. The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave. Although there’s no washing machine in the cabin, we’re happy to provide a laundry service if needed.

Families are welcome, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. Well-behaved pets are welcome too, so your four-legged companions can enjoy a countryside break alongside you.

We have a choice of restaurants, chip shop, butcher, Post Office, petrol station and convenience stores within a short drive and the nearby towns of Haverfordwest and Fishguard offer a wide choice of supermarkets.

Whether you spend your days exploring Pembrokeshire’s beautiful beaches, walking the coastal paths, discovering local towns and attractions, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, Caban Tawel makes a lovely place to return to at the end of the day.
