Nestled on Newton East Farm, in the heart of beautiful rural Pembrokeshire , Caban Tawel offers a peaceful hideaway from busy everyday life. Set in its own grounds on our family-run sheep and beef farm, our log cabin is surrounded by open fields, woodland and wildlife, with lovely views towards the Preseli Hills.
Caban Tawel means “peaceful cabin” in Welsh, and it is just that - a welcoming, comfortable home from home where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
Newton East Farm - A Little Haven for Nature Lovers
Newton East Farm is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife and habitats, including hay meadows, woodland, traditional Pembrokeshire hedgerows, streams and river. Keep an eye out for otters, kingfishers, red kites, buzzards and badgers. One of our favourite sights is watching the swallows return each summer, a pleasure we love sharing with our guests.
Guests are welcome to explore our private woodland paths, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spend time close to nature. Whether you are sitting on the cabin’s covered veranda, enjoying the garden or wandering through the woods, there is plenty of opportunity to slow down and breathe.

Our solid-pine log cabin offers a comfortable retreat throughout the year, with central heating for cosy winter evenings and a spacious covered veranda for enjoying the fresh country air.
With two double bedrooms, a bunk room, well-equipped kitchen, living space and its own securely fenced garden, Caban Tawel is ideal for individuals seeking peace and tranquillity, couples and families. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
