Caban Tawel

Caban Tawel translates from Welsh as “peaceful cabin”, an apt description of our log cabin retreat.

Nestled within its own tranquil grounds on our family farm, surrounded by woodland and open fields, the cabin’s veranda looks out towards the beautiful Preseli Hills. Crafted from solid pine and fully insulated, the cabin is equipped with central heating and furnished to a high standard throughout.

Awarded four stars by Visit Wales, Caban Tawel offers all the comforts of a home away from home - a snug hideaway in winter and a refreshing escape in summer. It sleeps up to six guests (maximum five adults) with two double bedrooms (one with en-suite) and a bunk room. The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens through double doors onto a large covered veranda, while outside you’ll find generous space to relax.

Our guests are welcome to explore the farm’s private woodland paths, and the cabin itself has a securely fenced garden with a lawn, picnic bench and ample parking. To make your arrival that little bit easier, complimentary tea, coffee and fresh milk are ready for you in the kitchen. The kitchen includes a full-size cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave. While there is no washing machine, we can provide a laundry service if needed.

For families, a travel cot and highchair are available on request. Well-behaved pets are welcome too.
